Mike and I were best friends since 6th grade. We did almost everything together all through High School. We double dated for 3 years. Even shared an apartment after I returned from U of I. We lost track about 15 years back. Sorry a good friend is gone.

It is never easy losing a loved one. May your memories take you through this difficult time. My sympathy to Mike Jr., family members and dear friends.

My heart goes out to the family. Mo was an awesome person and an amazing friend. He and I had some great times, we laughed, we cried. He wrote this on a piece of paper and gave to me years ago. “You better get it while you can. You better get it while you can. If you wait too long it’ll all be gone and you’ll be sorry then. Doesn’t matter if your rich or poor, it’s the same for a woman or a man. From the cradle to the crypt is a mighty short trip, so you better get it while you can.” I love you Mo, thank you for being such a good friend. Love Vetty

A favorite memory of my Dad & I: Floating down the Kishwaukee River in an old Jon boat, him playing the harmonica while I was playing oar guitar. This is one of many memories that I will always cherish. I love you Dad ❤️ I'll miss you always.
